Strong tornado crossing highway 4 just north of Langley, KS.
Rain and Thunderstorms
A slow moving low pressure system will trek through the lower Missouri Valley into the Ohio Valley by this weekend. Rain and thunderstorms will advance along a cold front, bringing locally heavy rainfall, lightning and pockets of gusty winds. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches can be expected. Temperatures will cool down into the 60s and 70s for highs over the weekend.
Showers and possibly a thunderstorm tonight
There's a chance of showers and thunderstorms for North Alabama tonight. Shouldn't be anything severe, just a lot of rain and wind.

Disaster Preparedness Resource Fair
AlabamaStormChasers (ASC) was out at the very first A&M Disaster Preparedness Resource Fair this weekend. We had a blast meeting with a bunch of people. Our table was setup beside the NWS's table which made it a great day talking with those guys. We hope they do it again next year!
